Program
Museum and towers open 18.00-23.00
Entrance to both the museum and the towers is €1.
Come and enjoy the special spirit of Tartu and the university. The University of Tartu Museum is located in the heart of Tartu - Toomemägi in the Toom Church - and its exhibitions showcase the university's history and science. You'll also find fascinating exhibits about Tartu Cathedral and the birth of Tartu, the Mad Scientist's Cabinet and other interesting exhibitions.
Starting at 19:00, there will be a "Literary walk on Toomemä Hill" guided by writer and guide Kaspar Jassa. The tour will reminisce about the literary people associated with Toompea and visit the most important buildings and landmarks. The ticket costs €1 and can be bought at the museum's cash desk before the tour starts. The walk starts from the museum lobby.
Throughout the evening, you can buy the museum's publications at discounted prices. You can also watch this year's Eurovision Song Contest on a screen on the ground floor of the museum - and grab an espresso macchiato from the museum shop!
