"Our Tartu" is an exhibition about the people and neighbourhoods of Tartu. Through 17 chapters, the exhibition introduces visitors to the kaleidoscopic nature of one of the most beloved cities in the world and conveys a sense of what makes each district, and Tartu as a whole, special. Each district has its own theme, and local people talk about where they live.
"Visionary" is an exhibition in which students from the second year of the Media Design Department at Pallas have given books and fairy tales by Estonian authors new visual bodies - new colours, new shapes, new movement. The best typography projects are also on show, to show how rich a single letter can be. As a bonus, the Pallas leather design department is involved in the exhibition, creating unique leather-bound book cases.
The exhibition curators will be on hand to answer questions from the audience. There will also be a workshop organised by Pallas students.
