The exhibition Our Tartu is open.

"Our Tartu" is an exhibition about the people and neighbourhoods of Tartu. Through 17 chapters, the exhibition introduces visitors to the kaleidoscopic nature of one of the most beloved cities in the world and conveys a sense of what makes each district, and Tartu as a whole, special. Each district has its own theme, and local people talk about where they live.

The exhibition curators will be on hand to answer questions from the audience.

NB! The City Museum, in cooperation with the Institute of Encounters and Non-encounters, will open a monument in each district of Tartu on Museum Night. The action is open to all citizens. More information to come.

Tartu City Museum invites you to take a walk in one of the most important parts of the city in terms of Estonian cultural history - Ülejõe.
Together with a guide from the City Museum, you will discover the history of the hidden Ülejõe district.
The guide will share interesting facts about the architectural and settlement history of Ülejõe, without forgetting the remarkable people and institutions that were active here in the past. You will learn about the first achievements of Ülejõe in Estonia and the basis for the claim that Ülejõe may be the most important district in the context of Estonian cultural history. Let's start in the courtyard of the City Museum.
