The Estonian Distillery Museum has a nice small collection of books that we want to show to visitors during the Book Year and Museum Night. You can find works from the time of the Tsarist era and the Republic of Wabia to the present day. As is typical of an industrial museum, these are mainly practical manuals on how to distil, make liqueurs, grow malt or set up a distillery, but also what taxes to pay and how to register production.
In one recipe book, we found instructions for making the popular drinks of the early 20th century - Crystal Cake, Chartreuse and Curaçao. On the tour, we'll share what was put into the drinks and whether and how the recipes have changed over time.

The Museum of the Distillery Industry was opened in Moe in 1971. year. Here you can get an in-depth insight into the development of distillery production, see historic techniques and hear stories that reveal the industry's background.
Alcohol has been produced in Moe for over 300 years and is still produced today. The 18th century distillery, the 19th century distillery, liqueur, beer and lemonade factory, which has recently been renovated and given a new lease of life, and the 20th century factory buildings remain.

On the night of the museum, the Krog beer bar will be open, where you can taste drinks made by Moe, as well as the factory shop (until 22:00).

The meetings are in the MOE!
