In line with the theme of the Night of Voices, voices, sounds and stories have been added to the permanent exhibition for one night on historical sound recordings. Through them, the people of the past and the sounds of history will be heard.

Children can take part in a craft workshop from 18-21, where everyone can make a small whistle.

At 19.00 the presentation of the book “Of Light and Ghost Darkness” (Valgusest ja tondipimedusest). The book tells the story of one of the architectural pearls that disappeared from the Võru cityscape. The people of Võru know the building as the Krümmer Schoolhouse, although it existed before the scholar Heinrich Krümmer moved with his private school from Ehmja Manor to Võru in 1832. Today, the site is home to the Võrumaa Museum and the Võru Sports School, so let’s tell the story of our museum.

In addition to the permanent exhibition, temporary exhibitions are open: ‘Not everything is black and white.” The first printing houses in Võru “, “Võrumaa Museum 60” and the personal exhibition “God, if you are everywhere, why am I still somewhere?” by Urmas Lüüs.
