Program

Open from 18.00-23.00

Visit the oldest art museum in Estonia, located in the heart of the University of Tartu - the main building with six pillars. In the museum's temporary exhibition hall, the exhibition "Signs of Power" takes a closer look at the lobby of the University of Tartu and examines how the space has changed under the influence of different powers. In addition, you can visit the permanent exhibition, which includes a mummy chamber.

Starting at 18:00, the exhibition "Signs of Power" will host a curatorial tour entitled "How to read the lobby?" - curator Ken Ird will introduce the idea behind the exhibition and decipher the visible and invisible signs of power in the lobby from the past to the present.

At 21.00 and 22.00, guided tours of the historical quarters of the University's main building will start. Tickets are €1, registration and payment at the cash desk of the University of Tartu Art Museum.
