Visitors with special needs can park their car in front of the Wittenstein Time Centre (Veski 11, Paide).
On entering the Time Centre, there is a threshold at the front door, which a museum staff member will assist you to climb up. The entire exhibition is wheelchair accessible. There is a lift between all floors (including the 8th to 9th floor). There are 3 disabled toilet facilities on different floors.
All the exhibits are tangible. There are film programmes on each floor, and the visually impaired can listen to the programmes and learn about the era.
Program
The Wittenstein Time Centre in Paide's castle on Vallimäe hill is a special time machine that takes visitors back to different eras. On different floors, visitors can explore the time of the Ancients, the Order, the Kings and Tsars, the Occupation, the Estonian Republic and the Restoration of Independence.
The Time Centre is the perfect destination for the whole family - with interactive and hands-on exhibits to thrill time travellers of all ages.
On Museum Night (17.05), the Wittenstein Time Centre is open from 18.00-23.00.
