Program

Night and evening on the Egg Hill are different – there are voices.

  1. On the night of the Museum on 1 May, as the day begins to wind down, a different world awakens on the Great Egg Hill. The forest doesn’t stay silent – it begins to talk. The birds, the wind, the crickets and the crunches… voices you don’t notice during the day come out.

This year’s theme is “There are voices in the night” and that’s what we invite you to experience.

During the evening, guided tours will take you on a hike from the park to the top, starting at 18:00 and 20:00. These are walks where stories, people and voices intertwine. You’ll hear about the history, the Egg Hill and the moments that have been left behind – and at the same time you’ll hear about what’s happening here and now.

The sun sets at 21:31, but at the top of the Munamägi the spectacle starts earlier. If you get to the tower in time, you can see the light fade and the landscape becomes softer, calmer.

The observation tower is open from 18:00-23:00. On museum night, admission to the tower costs €1. The café is waiting for you, you can grab a warm drink and just be for a while. If you have any questions or would like to know more, one of our guest services will be happy to help.

It’s not just an evening.
It’s a moment when you listen more than usual.

Bring someone or come alone.
Put your phone in your pocket.
Listen.

See you at the top.
