Have you ever felt the forest touch you?
What's at stake in the forest? Who lives in the forest? Where is the power of the forest?
If the forest were a book, what stories would it tell us? How does a tree growing in a forest become a book?
These are just a few of the questions you can find answers to at the Viimsi Visitor Centre's permanent exhibition.
The exhibition is aimed at people of all ages, from the urban dweller to the true nature lover. "There is power in the forest!" introduces the benefits that forests provide to people and the importance of forests to the natural environment: they are an essential source of work and warmth, a source of inspiration and a sports hall, a shelter and a refuge, a safe and a treasure, a creator of beauty and a place of rest.
Open Tue, Fri 12-18, Sat 10-18.
(Museum night 18-23)
