Tallinn Raeapteek is the oldest pharmacy in Europe operating permanently in the same premises. The exact date of the pharmacy's foundation is unknown, but the Tallinn Town Hall's notebook shows that the pharmacy already had a third owner in 1422.

Today, the pharmacy is run in conjunction with a museum, where you can see old pharmacy equipment and medieval treatments. The pharmacy sells both traditional medicines and special Rae products!

The museum organises educational tours and workshops on the history of pharmacy for children and adults.

PHARMACY IS AN EXPERIENCE!
