Program

Tootsi flowerbed

Museum night begins with the establishment of the Tootsi bed, in cooperation with the support and knowledge of METK, local varieties, including the potato varieties Joosep and Teele, will be planted in the bed. Tootsi bed as a symbolic and practical activity creates a bridge between literary history, local identity and modern food awareness.

Workshop

A workshop led by Ülle Jukki “Voices of Weeds on a Plate” will take place, which connects the theme of the Year of Flavors and the Museum Night, offering participants the opportunity to think about the role of heritage and nature in the formation of a community.

Nature-themed lecture

The evening will be enriched by a meeting with nature trip organizer Vahur Sepa, who will introduce the behavior of wild animals and explain the connections between processes occurring in nature and society. He will talk about hunting, its necessity and teach you to recognize the traces of animals and birds while moving in the forest.

Concert

Museum night ends with the concert Voices at Night. Kalle Sepp and Johan Randvere will perform.
