Important info
At the Muhu Museum you can experience the history of Koguva village and Muhu Island.
Koguva is a lively and distinctive village where history, literature and modern village life meet. It is home to the Muhu Museum, the heart of which is the Tooma farm – the birthplace of writer Juhan Smuuli, with all its buildings and farm property. Koguva is not an open-air museum, but a functioning village. The Muhu Museum is located in three different places in the village, while the remaining buildings and courtyards are privately owned. Please follow the signs to the museum and respect the privacy of local residents – do not enter private property and follow the signs at the gates.
