Program
On the Night of Voices, we listen to the story of the Cistercian monastery in Lihula.
Every year, museum visitors ask: where was the monastery here in Lihula?
This year’s museum night will feature a presentation on the history of Lihula by Haapsalu museum director and archaeologist Anton Pärn, who has been researching the history of medieval Lihula for decades.
He will take visitors on a journey to the former monastery, where the heart of the monastery – the medieval well – is still preserved.
