Program
In the workshop you can learn about the history of the construction and use of one-wood caves and how they are used today.
The Chamber’s exhibition tells the story:
- on the role of the indigenous people in the cultural space of Soomaa,
- use in the Pärnu river basin,
- and on the historic Pärnu-Peipsi waterway
- and the reasons why the Soomaa hawk culture has been inscribed on UNESCO’s World Heritage List.
After the visit to the hawk hut, you can go on a boat trip on the Tori River for an extra fee.
