In the books, we often encounter descriptions of situations that take us back in time. On Museum Night, we will try to help visitors to find a text from the Estonian Open Air Museum that corresponds to the texts known from the literary classics. Visitors will be able to play a guessing game and can visit two nice cafés and tavern and the village shop.
The Estonian Open Air Museum is a visitor-friendly and environmentally friendly museum of rural architecture. We carefully preserve the cultural heritage entrusted to us for future generations and value the museum's beautiful and diverse natural environment. We are committed to reflecting sustainable development in the museum's collection, research and conservation policies, as well as in exhibitions, events, education programmes and other activities. Through cultural traditions, we connect the past with the present and the future. Conventional farming is a source of inspiration for the circular economy.
