The Estonian Museum of Architecture has exhibitions open on Museum Night:
“Let me warm you up” – The exhibition that represented Estonia at the 2025 Venice Architecture Biennale has arrived in Estonia. The exhibition explores the paradoxes of renovation processes in pursuit of climate goals. The exhibition is accompanied by a tragicomedy of a housing association, inspired by real-life stories, with the added theatrical dimension of six written dialogues. The dialogues feature, among others, residents, developers, architects and even the apartment buildings themselves. The exhibition will also feature a sound installation by Kirill Havanski.
“A living space. A century of Estonian architecture” – The exhibition will focus on the most important parts of the development of Estonian architecture in the 20th century as well as the most interesting phenomena of today. In the permanent exhibition, visitors can examine the models and explore how social, economic and political processes have influenced the way of life of local people and the spatial development of the local area. The permanent exhibition also has an audio guide, ask for it at the cash desk!
“Explore the space” – a permanent exhibition for the whole family that teaches you to experience space and capture the essence of architecture. Set in the vaulted cellar of the Rotermann Salt Works, the environment offers experiences for all the senses, guiding everyone to smell, touch, listen and experience architecture with their whole body.
