Program
The Estonian Health Museum has made it its mission to inspire and educate people to take care of their own health and the health of those close to them, and to live life to the fullest with a sense of well-being.
The museum’s trilingual, interactive, and science-based permanent exhibition “Openly About Your Body” offers a fascinating insight into human anatomy and physiology. We explore what is inside the human body, how it works, and how to keep both body and mind healthy and active.
In addition to introducing human anatomy and physiology, we also cover other topics related to the body and health, such as human origins, the life cycle, birth and death, the senses, healthy nutrition, addictions, sexuality, and more. The exhibition features numerous hands-on exhibits, educational digital solutions, and real human organs.
This year, visitors can also explore the newly opened thematic exhibition “Goodbye, Youth!”, which was awarded the Museum Rat award in the Exhibition of the Year category. This interactive exhibition invites reflection on what aging really is and how to better cope with it. The exhibition is located in the large hall on the 3rd floor.
You can read more about the thematic exhibition here: https://tervisemuuseum.ee/exhibition/huvasti-noorus/

We also recommend visiting the recently updated sexuality room, also located on the 3rd floor.
The museum is situated in Tallinn’s Old Town in a 600-year-old authentically renovated historic building, adding cultural and historical value to the visit. During Museum Night, some additional areas will be open that are usually closed to the public.
As part of Museum Night, the Health Museum is open from 18:00 to 23:00.
Admission: €1
