Program

Still haven't seen the exhibition "Beastly washing machine: ingenuity in the countryside"?! Museum Night is your chance! We'll be putting out some interesting Soviet-era books about DIY and the lifehacks of the time. In the technical section, an exhibition of self-built machines, there is something for both the big and the small.

What is the link between books and food? Well, of course, through recipe books....Wonderful smell of baking comes from the library on museum night and we'll be exploring Linda Pett's recipes, and who knows, maybe we'll get to taste the food made from them. There will also be museum artisan bread for sale (limited quantities).

The live animals section of the Agricultural Museum's Rural Curiosity Centre is open to visitors and our animals are waiting for new friends. But we have found some great stories about animals in books, which we are happy to tell to those who are interested. Under the guidance of animal keepers, food can be given to their charges. Pony rides for the smallest newcomers at 18.30-19.30, cost €5 per rider.

Where is a good place to read a book?! On the road...... But how comfortable is it to read a book in a GAZ51 box? Ah, sometimes, especially if the journey is not very long, you can enjoy your surroundings and think about stories you have already read in a book. Why not share a fascinating story with your fellow passengers or recommend one of those "oh, what a good book".

The main exhibition hall, soon to be renovated, is open on museum night and there are already stories to be told. And a rare photo album is like a good book, where each picture has its own story. Come and listen to Count Fr. Berg photo stories!
