Program
Open 16:00-23:00
Interested parties (young and old alike) will get an in-depth look at weather observations and the instruments used to make them.
The weather station has a permanent exhibition of historical instruments.
You can get answers to questions:
- what is a burrometer and how is it used?
- why do you need a thermometer for a toner cartridge?
- can you measure without hair?
- how has the climate changed in Estonia?
- and much more.
There is a book in the night. Weather observations literally needed a book at night. A budding observer learns about weather processes from books. During the observations, books were also needed, for example to determine cloud or humidity characteristics. Long-term weather observations can be used to write a book. On Museum Night, you can see a selection of all the options.
