The House of Ancient Art is located in a former shop, 100 metres from the Palmse-Sagadi road junction. We kindly ask visitors arriving by car to park in our parking lot on the left side of Sagadi Road, cross the street, and enter through the pedestrian gate. Signs and flags guide the way.

Ancient Art Chamber open 11.00 - 23.00.

SHOWS

Stone Age images on paper copies and photographs from the collection of the Society of Antiquities.

Ülle Saatmäe textiles exhibition GROWING ROOM.

The author is the winner of the Textile Artist of the Year 2020 award. The fabrics are made from natural materials and are made using a vegetal print technique.

A chance to see books illustrated by Ülle Meistri, a member of the Society, and books designed by Kadi Pajupuu and Marilyn Piirsalu.

The exhibitions will be presented by members of the Society of Ancient Art at 11, 13, 18 and 20.

LECTURES and MUSIC

Lectures by Väino Poikalainen, chairman of the Society of Ancient Archaeologists (lasting up to 45 minutes) on petroglyphs and their study at 12.00 and 14.00.

15.00 - 15.30 Concert by Risto Iljas.

16.00 - 16.30 Väino Poikalainen will present books about the Kaljuta in different countries.

17.30 - 18.00 Science and Action. Lecture on colostrum and its benefits for the immune system, opportunity to taste and buy products made from colostrum.

The museum shop sells themed souvenirs, textiles, prints and publications.

Young and old alike can make their own paper copy of the image carved on the stone slab.

Activities are also possible after these times, as long as there are visitors.

Weather permitting, you can sit and chat by the campfire.
