The exhibition is located on the second floor with stairs leading up. It is not wheelchair accessible as there is no lift or ramps.

Program

At the exhibition one can see Barbie dolls owned by Maivi Kärginen-Kivi. The exhibition currently has over 400 dolls on display, the oldest date back to the 1960s and the newest are completely modern. Rarer examples include porcelain Barbies, various Silkstone Barbies, Allan from the Barbie Movie and grandmother Barbie. Plus, of course, various Barbies from the 1970s, 1980s and 1990s. .

In line with this year's theme of Museum Night, the permanent exhibition will be joined by a range of literary Barbies - from Nobel Prize winner Maya Angelou to the Three Bears fairytale set. There will also be reading corner with selection of Barbie children's books (in Estonian) and old Barbie magazines.

There's also a play corner for children with Barbie houses, dolls, vehicles and animals from different eras.
