Night of the Museum on the Big Egg Hill
We invite you to the Great Egg Hill on 17 May for a special Night of Museums programme!
Open on museum night: 20:00- 23:00
On this night of books, we open the door to history and creation with stories and legends as the sun sets.
What's ahead?
- 20:20 Conversation and reading - Siiri Toomik reads out excerpts and shares exciting stories. Weather permitting, the talk will take place on the balcony of the tower, and can be listened to in front of the tower or in the café. The talk will be chaired by Einike Aedmaa.
- 21:54 Poetry at the top of the tower - Enjoy the sunset and let the poetry flow. Listen to poetry and texts written by Erkki Peetsalu at sunset - performed by the poet himself. After the sunset, a discussion on creation and the creative environment will continue in the Observatory café.
- The legends of the people of Haanimaa - The exhibition "The story of Haanimaa" is open in the Observatory, taking us to the harmony between local stories and nature.
- Book corner in the café - A selection of works related to the Great Egg Hill and its history to browse and discover.
