Arrival and parking
A marked forest road leads from the visitors’ car park to the centre, which is 250 metres away.
Invalid vehicles are allowed to drive along Kellasalu Road past the large visitor car park, with two marked invalid parking spaces located opposite Kellasalu Road 10. From there, a forest road 80 metres long leads to the centre. Please note, there is a small slope at the beginning of the road.
Visitors with special needs can also park in our staff car park, located right next to the building, and enter through the staff entrance. Please let us know in advance at info@arvopart.ee or by calling +372 335 3000.
Movement in the house
There are no stairs in front of the main entrance, the entrance is at ground level. There are no thresholds in the building and the entire floor is on the same level. Access to the chapel, which is located in the largest courtyard, requires assistance, the courtyard is on a lower level and the chapel door is above ground. The centre has 2 wheelchairs for visitors with special needs.

For the visually impaired
The Arvo Pärt Centre’s permanent exhibition “When you’re searching as if from scratch” takes visitors on a journey into Arvo Pärt’s world of thought, to encounter the composer’s reflections on silence, word and sound, written down over decades. For the visually impaired, these thoughts have been read out on tape by actor Rain Simmul and can be listened to via audio guide. The audio guide can be requested from the centre’s information desk and the staff member will set the audio guide to show in listening mode.

The Arvo Pärt Centre, located in Laulasmaa, is the composer's personal archive and a music centre dedicated to preserving and promoting his work. The eye-catching central building houses a 150-seat chamber with enchanting forest views, a film room, a cosy library, an exhibition area, a quiet chapel and a spiral tower with wonderful views. By downloading the audio guide, you can listen to a large part of Arvo Pärt's oeuvre and take a virtual tour of the centre. The permanent exhibition "When you search as if from scratch" takes you on a journey into Arvo Pärt's world of thought, to meet the composer's reflections on being human and his work.
