The best way to get to the Estonian Road Museum is by car. We have one 400-space car park at the Tartu end of the museum.

IN THE MUSEUM WITH CHILDREN
The Estonian Road Museum is a family museum. In addition to the usual museum visit, your child can visit the children’s museum in the main building and the traffic city. While there are activity leaders for children on both sides, an adult must accompany the child.

Depending on the specificity of our museum, it may be difficult to negotiate sections of the historic road from different eras by cart or trolley. Museum staff are happy to help if you let them know. The best way to get to the traffic zone by pushchair or pram is through the roadside exhibition.

NB! In the paddling pools in the paddock and exhibition hall, there is a changing table and pots for babies.

FOR THE VERSATILE
Due to the specific nature of the museum, wheelchair access in and around the historic road space and the courtyard of the post office is difficult, as we display road surfaces from different eras.

Access to the permanent exhibition on the ground floor of the main building of the old post office is via a temporary ramp. Invaluable facilities are located in the Teahouse and the Engine Room. Visually impaired people can take a guided tour of the museum if they wish. We will be happy to help you if you let us know when you are coming and if you would like to help by calling 5899 8064.

At 19.00 Opening of the exhibition "Road to the Environment" followed by a curatorial tour of the new exhibition and the Road Room.
The tour will be led by the exhibition curator Merily.

19.00-21.00 Workshop: bookmark making; gothic reading and pen writing.
Location: Valkla tavern

18.00-22.00 Bookstall at the Road Museum.

At 21.00 Guided tour of travel books, through different eras.
The tour will be guided by Neidi. The tour starts from the Varbus Post Station.

Open Traffic City and the Varbus Theme Park.
