Program

The exterior of the charming mansion of Särevere Manor was completed layer by layer. The eaves and window surrounds of the historicist wooden building were decorated in the 19th century. In the second half of the 19th century, festive wooden lace was used, which had become popular in Estonia at that time due to the influence of the Swiss style that had arrived here. This exotic style loves lush saw-cut ornamentation. A magnificent glass veranda with a winter garden was built on the building. The neo-Baroque front door with its rich decor that greets the visitor indicates a fondness for historicist styles.

Currently, the main building of the manor is managed and maintained by the Järva County Vocational Education Center, the school's Särevere campus, whose students, under the supervision of teachers, offer catering to visitors to the manor. This happens frequently, as the mansion hosts receptions and concerts, and celebrates school festivities. The school has ties to the von Schillings, descendants of former landowners.
