On Saturday, 16 May from 18.00-23.00, Kuressaare Castle will come to life in a completely different way – cannon blasts, music, crackling fire, sounded silent movies, old-fashioned wake-up calls and maybe even a snoring bishop.

When walking around Kuressaare’s medieval castle, pay attention to the steep stairs and low doorways! Wheelchair access is only possible to the castle’s renovated basement, where the temporary exhibition halls and museum shop are located. A wheelchair user may need the assistance of an escort.
