| Join us on a vivid and immediate journey through Israeli food culture – it’s not just a recipe book, it’s authentic flavours, captivating chaos and warmth.
18.00 – 19.00 Workshop “Israeli meze or preparing a selection of salads” During the first hour, we will cook together: fresh Israeli salads, spicy flavours and simple techniques that turn ordinary food into something addictive. You’ll see how things are done for real – without filters and subtle tricks. 19.00 – 20.00 The pleasure of eating In the second hour, we focus on what really matters – eating. We’ll be serving classic Israeli street food: sabich*, falafel and much more. Warm pita, sauces and textures – all melding into a perfect whole, just the way it should be. This is not formal training! It’s a communal table, good food, stories and a little balagan**– just like at home. Come hungry! *Sabich – Sabihh or sabih is a pita or flatbread sandwich deep fried with eggplant, hard-boiled eggs, chopped lettuce, parsley, amba and tahini sauce. Sabich is sold in many establishments throughout Israel. **”Balagan” means “confusion” or “chaos” in Hebrew, Yiddish and Polish. |
