You can come to us by car or by bus. You can find the bus times on our museum website: https://seljametsa.ee/
Seljametsa Museum is located in the same building as the community centre. We are accessible for people in wheelchairs as well as for the visually impaired. Please note that the levels of the museum rooms are slightly different heights, and the points of contact are marked with brightly coloured floor tape. Wheelchair users will need assistance to negotiate these obstacles.
Program
The Seljametsa Museum is a museum of domestic animals, which turns 24 in May. The museum's permanent exhibits are divided into two rooms, which we affectionately call the master and mistress rooms. The doors are open on the night of the museum from 18.00-23.00. Activities for young and old alike.

kl 18.30 Children's performance "Stuck in the Book" by Seljametsa Theatre Studio (play dedicated to the Year of the Estonian Book, author and director Krista Vessmann).
kl 19.00 Presentation of the title of Friend of Seljametsa Museum 2024
20.30 meeting with the writer Contra aka Margus Konnula

¤ Earthenware made by Liivia Koolme
¤ Publications and books from the museum collection. (The rarest and oldest of these is a handwritten and bound music book from 1854, donated to the museum in 2023 by Priit Kask).
