Program

On Saturday, 16 May at 11 am, all museum lovers are invited to the Tartu Toy Museum’s FREE birthday party, this time called Hero’s Birthday.
The party will take place in the main building of the museum, Lutsu 8, from 11-15 and will be a nice introduction to the evening programme of the Night of Museums all over Estonia. The Toy Museum is NOT OPEN in the evening, only during daytime.

What do we do on the birthday of our heroes?
Find your favourite or go through all the workshops:

* Discover your own super name workshop
* Super painting corner
* Luck draw for the toughest heroes
* Hero masks and hero crowns workshop
* Heroes’ craft workshop
* Superhero and superhero woodworking heroes’ room

In addition, the Embassy of the Republic of Poland will open a one-day exhibition “Basia, the Polish book hero”, with a visit from illustrator Marianna Oklejak. On the street in front of the museum, specialists from the Rescue Service will give a presentation on fire-fighting. There will be a real fire engine.

The party is organised in cooperation with the Rescue Board and the Embassy of the Republic of Poland.
Come in your hero costume or hero mask!

NB! Theatre Home is closed on this day. The Toy Museum will not be open during the evening hours, only from 11am to 3pm.
