Program

Peipsimaa Museum brings together everything that is Peipsi. You can learn about the life of the Old Believers, church and kitchen culture, icon painting and life on Lake Peipsi in the house next door.

A special exhibition belongs to the world-famous icon painter Pimen Sofronov, who comes from this village. The museum also has a room for workshops (e.g. icon painting, making ivan chai, cooking sugar, onion stew, reading the church slate).

Souvenirs and handicrafts related to the culture and nature of the Peipsi, ivan chai and a variety of tasty local sweets will be available for purchase.

Accessibility information:

A small parking lot is next to the house. There are stairs to the entrance, no ramps.
