Special programme at the Estonian Road Museum – “There are voices in the night”

1. Road songs in the Masinahall

Listen to the best known Estonian songs about road and motoring.
Test your knowledge and guess the name of the singer or the song.

2. Discovering the sounds of the journey

Listen – find – make your own sounds
Move around the museum, look for different road-related sounds and discover where they come from. In some places you can even make the sound yourself.

3. Children’s activities – the world of the bicycle bell

The fascinating world of bicycle bells awaits children at the Masinahall Traffic Education Centre.

  • learn about safe cycling safety equipment
  • beautify and design your own watch

4. Bicycle bells music and private collection

A unique opportunity to discover Karin Raamat’s private collection of bicycle watches, selected for their sound.

The collection started in the early 1990s and today includes around 40 different watches. Together, they make up an octave and a half of the soundtrack with semitones. Come and hear for yourself how the bells can sound like a real brass band.

5. Mechanical engineering workshop “Get the engines running!”

Technique and sounds workshop for all interested.

  • who or what is Saale Kolks

6. Excavation

A ride on the museum’s bogie track will give you adrenaline and thrills.

  • Duration of the journey 5-7 minutes
  • price 5 €
