Voices at the MotoNurk Museum — from day to night
The theme of Museum Night, “There Are Voices in the Night,” invites everyone to listen and discover the sounds that tell stories from the past and the present. At the MotoNurk Museum, you will hear many different voices on this day — from people, machines, and cultures.
12:00–18:00 — Antique and Handicraft Fair
At the fair, the sounds of people meeting and trading can be heard, along with the rhythm of handicraft tools and the sharing of stories. Every item carries the voice and memory of its own era.
12:00–21:00 — MotoNurk Museum open to visitors free of charge, guided tours
At the museum, you can hear the history of motorcycles through the stories of our guides and the experiences connected to the machines. These are voices that unite generations and help us understand how technology has shaped people’s lives.
12:00–17:00 — Music Programme “Finno-Ugric Wheel”
Featuring performances by the ensembles Ošmes and Maaväci.
You will hear traditional songs and instruments of Finno-Ugric peoples — voices that have preserved culture for centuries and continue to keep our shared heritage alive.
12:00–13:00 — Arrival and gathering of vintage vehicles at the MotoNurk Museum
At this time, the surroundings of the museum come alive with special sounds — the engines of vintage cars and motorcycles arriving one by one. Each vehicle carries the voice of its era and helps create a truly unique atmosphere.
13:00–15:00 — Vintage vehicle convoy through the city of Narva
At precisely 13:00, the historic vehicles begins its journey through the city. The voices of classic engines will be heard across Narva streets, signaling the start of Museum Night.
15:00–18:00 — Vintage vehicle exhibition
At the exhibition, you can see and hear the sounds of historic vehicles — engines that once moved along roads and through cities. These sounds bring back memories of a time when technology was simpler, but built to last and created with care and character.
17:30 — Award ceremony for vintage vehicle participants, prize draw results
This is a moment of gratitude and recognition — the sounds of applause and joy for the people who keep vintage technology alive and share their passion with others.
19:00–20:30 — Screening of the documentary film “Kadunud unistus”
The evening concludes with a film that brings to the screen the stories of 1990s cars and the people who created them.
In the film, you will hear both the roar of engines and the memories of people — voices from a time when dreams were big and change was rapid. It is a story about technology, people, and a bygone era whose traces live on in memories and in vintage machines.
